mathes group

My maths group name is called the  aristoteles. we have been learning to  and minus fractions for example ....
2/3 -5/6= 7/6

    Adding and subtracting fractions is fun Ben. How do you know what to do, as I see from your answer that you said it is 7/6 How can you subtract sixths away from thirds? Can you explain what you need to do with a question like this and how you solve this correctly?
